Bonjour tout le monde ! J’espère que vous allez bien et qu’il ne fait pas trop chaud chez vous.
Juillet a été un plutôt bon mois de mon côté, même si je ne suis clairement plus en état d’écrire. Sans compter une épaule toujours en rade et un pied qui s’y met. Mais bon. Il s’est passé des trucs cool, et globalement, ça a été. J’ai brodé plein de trucs !
Les lectures du mois
8 critiques, ça ne vous change pas trop de d’habitude, avec sept lectures et un livre de point de croix. C’est le 18e « 8 nouvelles érotiques inédites » qui décroche de peu la palme de livre du mois, cependant, « Le faux amour » a une meilleure note. Mais alors, pourquoi ne décroche-t-il pas la palme ? Simple question de préférence perso, étant donné qu’il ne s’agit pas d’une lecture légère.

Pas de défi PKJ cette fois, celui-ci étant couplé à Août pour un giga défi d’été. D’habitude, je me concocte mon propre truc, mais là, je suis en mode économie d’énergie, donc tant pis.

Juin 1990 : le commissaire Anconi doit transporter son accent marseillais à Pornichet, à la demande de son directeur. Le sommet franco-africain des chefs d’État débute dans quelques jours à La Baule et il devra y seconder Martineau, le collègue local. À peine sorti du train, un assassinat a lieu sur le remblai, Plage des Libraires. On trouve sur la victime une lettre énigmatique d’un notaire angevin et des photographies d’immeubles. Anconi se voit confier l’enquête. Il n’aura guère le temps d’admirer la station balnéaire. Tout juste pourra-t-il chaque soir au Bidule, un petit verre à la main, faire le point avec le commissaire baulois ! Qui est ce monsieur Tout-le-Monde que personne ne semble connaître à Pornichet ? Qui l’a tué ? Et Bonne Mère, pourquoi ?
ÉVIDEMMENT que je devais le ramener de Pornichet. Déjà que j’ai hésité à le prendre à la gare de Nantes, mais en le recroisant sur place, hors de question de résister. Est-ce qu’on peut faire un livre-souvenir plus approprié que ça ?

Et quand je me retourne, ils sont derrière moi, une masse noire et compacte avec mille visages blancs, ils se mettent aussi à tirer. »

Faire une sortie shipspotting à St Nazaire pour la première fois depuis trois ans, c’est bien. Réaliser que tu vois devoir meubler au moins cinq heures d’attente sans batterie externe, un peu moins. Surtout quand tu as un SP sur la route et que tu ne peux rien lire de long.
Bref. J’ai pris ça. Commencé au pied du phare, 0/10 pour le mal de fesses mais 20/10 pour le décor.

Il était le plus beau garçon du lycée ! Émilie n’en était pas revenue qu’il l’ait remarquée et bientôt aimée. Follement même. La famille de Paul est devenue la sienne et la jeune étudiante a bientôt profité de leur fortune.
L’idylle est passionnée et heureuse jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’éloigne pour étudier à Paris. Elle a beau promettre à Paul son retour prochain, le mariage et les enfants, y croit-elle vraiment ? Et surtout, Paul est-il le prince charmant protecteur qu’elle pensait ?

Jusqu’à présent, Amandine Frunard ne m’avait pas franchement convaincu, mais là, elle a fait très fort : ce bouquin est tout simplement l’une de mes meilleures lectures depuis le début de l’année !

Je ne sais plus si je suis tombé dessus suite à une critique sur Goodreads ou quoi, mais j’ai craqué.

Une poignée d’os : telle est la quête de chaque famille. Au sortir de la guerre d’Algérie, un adolescent quitte lui aussi sa montagne et part à la recherche des restes de son frère, tombé au combat. Mais il s’interroge. Pourquoi déterrer les morts et les déranger, afin de les ramener dans leur communauté ? Quel intérêt y a-t-il à enterrer dans son village un frère qui rêvait d’en partir ?
Finalement, peut-être que c’est vrai ; qu’en prenant de l’âge, on penche vers la blanche… Enfin disons que le résumé m’intriguait et qu’en boîte à livres ça ne coûte rien d’essayer.
Finalement, j’ai vraiment bien fait. Difficile de qualifier de « sympa » une lecture qui, sans en avoir l’air, te parle de la guerre et de la colonisation, c’est pas fait pour te mettre à l’aise, mais y’a pas d’images choc, c’est plus… compliqué que ça.
Une bonne lecture, en tout cas.

Ces deux découvertes remettent en cause toute la science archéologique. Et même les plus sceptiques doivent se rendre à la raison : l’Atlantide n’est peut-être pas un mythe…

Ça peut sembler paradoxal vu mon avis mitigé sur « Désaccordée » (dont j’ai tout de même acheté la suite, parce que la fin était super frustrante), mais j’avais vraiment envie de découvrir cet autre livre de Joanne Richoux. Merci l’occasion état neuf.

Si l’amour ne naissait que de la beauté d’un visage, la terre serait pleine de pauvres êtres solitaires. Il a, heureusement, des racines plus profondes.

Mais fuyant un concours raté, un amoureux qui l’évite, et une soeur qui voudrait faire d’elle une baby-sitter à vie pour ses bambins baveux, l’hypersensible Prudence attrape le premier prétexte venu pour tout larguer et se retrouver… coincée dans un van avec un daron aux pecs impeccables nommé Denis qui tient à ce qu’on l’appelle Dylan.

« J’adore les bijoux, renchérit Percy, enthousiaste. Naturellement, je ne voudrais pas que cela se sache à l’école, mais j’en ai moi-même une collection intéressante. J’en faisais la collection avant de me mettre aux timbres.
― Et des diamants, reprit John, avec exaltation. Les Schnlitzer-Murphy avaient des diamants gros comme des noix…
― Ça, ce n’est rien. » Percy s’était penché vers lui et avait baissé la voix au point qu’elle n’était plus qu’un simple murmure. « Ce n’est rien du tout. Mon père a un diamant plus gros que l’hôtel Ritz-Cadton. »
― Et des diamants, reprit John, avec exaltation. Les Schnlitzer-Murphy avaient des diamants gros comme des noix…

En écumant les listes à la fin de « Voyous, truands et autres voleurs », j’ai repéré deux-trois trucs intéressants mais finalement, seul celui-ci a terminé dans mon panier.
Finalement c’était bof-bof, je me disais que je le relirais un jour, mais finalement, j’en doute.
Côté photo…
Donc pour la première fois depuis trois ans, on a été voir un grobato. Comme on a passé la journée sur place, j’ai aussi shooté des goélands (avec l’appareil hein !) et d’autres trucs. Le Resilient Warrior venait juste de se mettre à bouger quand le petit bateau de pêche rouge est passé, Mr me l’a montré, j’ai répondu « nan, je fais pas ce genre de truc », mais finalement, j’adore cette photo xD
Rien n’est retouché, j’ai même trié juste pour l’article, c’est dire…
